Why do women become older looking after menopause? They grow a mustache and have very dry wrinkled skin with old looking eyes? At 53 shouldent a women look the same as a 30 year old woman?

Why do men get old and wrinkly and go bald and basically have an butt that slopes inward? And they get hair in their ears and their teeth fall out and they drool all the time?
In other words, not everyone ages wonderfully. Neither sex.

You come from a place of ignorance with this question, so you must be a male. A woman does not get old and wrinkly at menopause….and they don’t grow facial hair either. My mother is in her sixties, and she has a beautiful complexion. It depends how a woman takes care of herself. If she smokes, and lays out in the sun for hours, she will appear to age quicker. A woman in her fifties should look like a woman in her fifties…I am in my thirties and accept that I will not always look the way that I do now.
53 should look 30? um…no…duh.
first of all, in menopause the hormonal changes of estrogen dropping and testaserone levels raise. this accounts for hair growth, and skin changes. but those changes can be lessened with diet, exercise, meds and a lot of expensive goop.
put it really depends on the person. there are plenty of women out there, in their 60s who are absolutely gorgeous and look 15 years younger.

I’m sure it never occured to you that older women experience menopause and therefore look their age.
I’m guessing that at 53 you will not be looking quite like 30 as well.
Just to give you a little insight: both sexes produce testosterone and estrogen. When a female goes through menopause, her lever of estrogen drops significantly but the testosterone lever stays up causing her, like males, to grow more hair.
At some age, men start dropping off testosterone and lose sexual urges and muscle tone.

there body are all out of wack, give her some slack she really can not control everything. The best thing to do is have her see a doctor for hormone levels. Also I dont think she got older looking overnight.
Some of us women might look older after 53 but most men over 53 end up with something that hangs all wrinkled and old and gets all dried up to. The advantage us older women have over that is that ours can be corrected by plastic surgery and we can dump your old butt’s and trade you in for the young stuff anytime.

Women’s bodies stop producing the accurate amounts of hormones once their reproductive system doesn’t "function" anymore.
As for wrinkles and old eyes, men and women have those.
